The GEmini™ platform can be configured to support ‘n’ consumers, in 24-port increments. GEmini™ interfaces with the upstream data-networking infrastructure via a Gigabit Ethernet connection.
As illustrated below, the Critical Telecom ±190 VDC remote Line Power Supply can optionally be used to power GEmini™ equipment from the CO over spare copper pairs. Each plug-in module in the remote Line Power Supply chassis can power one GEmini™ Ethernet Remote DSLAM in the outside plant.
The GEmini™ platform can also be deployed in a subtended-mux architecture to maximize utilization of backhaul links, as indicated above. The subtended mux capability enables GEmini™ to support the over-subscription of services.
